HACK
health awareness kampuchea (hack)
Spread the word, not bacteria!
We launched the HACK campaign in 2017 as a response to one of the biggest social problems in Cambodia - AMR or Antimicrobial Resistance.
We spent 3 years teaching people about the perils of over-consumption of antibiotics and quickly found ourselves fighting a losing battle, so we decided to tackle one of the leading causes to sickness in Cambodia: Sanitation and Hygiene.
Since then we have been promoting WASH and collaborating with partners such as Watershed at our major events such as Slaprea which sees over 30,000 people in the space of 8 hours.
Now, during the Covid 19 Crisis, we are releasing the a #happyhands campaign for sharing which you can see on our Facebook Page here. And if you’re happy to help, click here for our blog post link where you can download the pictures or share directly with those who need them.
Utilizing Volunteer Nation and our platforms, such as Slaprea and Baitong, we aim to reduce sickness in Cambodia and curb the use of abuse of antibiotics.
