How do we reinvent people’s relationship with sleep with a decades-old mattress company?
Buying a mattress has always been a bit of a puzzle to many, or worse an unexciting chore done out of necessity every few years by a responsible adult. With the number of different types of beds that exist sold to us, how do you tell what’s genuinely good and what isn’t?
When we dove into the mattress industry in Cambodia, we learned about some of the common misconceptions and uncertainties around mattresses that consumers typically face during the buying process.
Which one is the right one for addressing back problems?
Is a heavy mattress a good mattress?
Why does my sleeping habit matter when it comes to choosing the right mattress?
We learned that there isn’t a one-size fits all solution, and that consumer perception has a long long way to go. Despite the fact that we spend a good part of our day and night, and time in-between, in bed, there’s a lot that we don’t know, including how much our mattress affects our sleep habits, and our day-to-day.
After decades as a household name and industry leader, Heng Heng Mattresses, a family-run business born and based in Cambodia, saw an opportunity to set matters (and mattresses) straight by addressing some of the most common questions, myths, and uncertainties when choosing the right mattress and beddings.
So we sprung into action and set-out to develop digital campaigns to make the experience of choosing a mattress easier, and more fun, while building a community and culture around good sleeping habits.
