A service grant program to help SMEs and Community-Positive organizations adapt to immediate changes, and prepare for long-term gains.

The first step is to tweak or create a new strategy which restructures the brand, product or service to tap into new markets, similar to a Blue Ocean Strategy:

i. First, we identify the business core strengths and challenges in the context of how that industry/market has been affected by COVID 19; this involves identifying social, cultural and economic trends.

ii. Then we engage with current and potential customers to understand their experience and expectations.

iii. The final step is to look into the value chain and apply visualization and empathy exercises to discover opportunities. The objective is to make the Maximum Impact with Least Expenditure. This thinking process once embedded in the team is beneficial in all challenging situations.

What you’ll get at the end of this step is some new concepts, campaigns and clear steps forward for how and what you’ll be communicating to your stakeholders. Our consultants will personally guide you through this process, all you need to do is turn up!

Digitize

Once we innovate, we need to reach our audience on the right platforms with the right message.

We expand your digital presence by building and managing platforms and even curating and designing! Platform management includes tracking, measuring and analyzing campaigns and community.

These agency services alone can typically cost anywhere from USD 800 to USD 5,000+ per month, fortunately these are included in the Springboard Program.

What you’ll get at the end at the end of this step is scripts, content, digital strategy and even artwork content which you can upload right away to your social media pages! There is a limited amount of design and copywriting work but will certainly help your business go a long way.

Health, Hygiene
& Distancing Transformation

Simulataneously we will prepare for current and post-COVID hygiene norms using the 3Ps approach: People, Physical Infrastructure and Processes .

COVID 19 has caught all of us by surprise, this training is to ensure we are better prepared in the future. All recommendations are as per WHO guidelines andand vetted by local healthcare partner Community Pharma. (link http://mycommunitypharma.com/)

What you can expect is a set of guidelines to follow and even quizzes to send to your team to ensure they pass and can demonstrate good health & safety practices.

We will coach and train your team so that you can run your own show digitally and independently.

+ What is ‘’SMEs Springboard’’?

Life as we know it is changing, and so is the way we do business. The Idea Consultancy is launching the SMEs Springboard, a service that enables entrepreneurs and companies to transition to the new normal in a smooth and effective way. It’s about maximum impact with limited expenditure. We start by understanding your business, then we set up the core framework and finally we transfer knowledge by training your team so that you can run the show on your own, coaching and consulting whilst performing agency services to help prepare your business.

The package includes:

+ Who is eligible?

  • Any Tax Compliant SME with annual turnover less than $300k per annum.

  • Any new SME which will be tax compliant within 6 months and is hiring at least 5 full-time employees within 3 months.

  • Applicants in the following industries are preferred, other industries will still be considered:

    • Retail

    • Handicraft

    • Food & Beverage

    • Agriculture

    • Consumer Goods

    • Professional Services

    • Events

    • Hospitality

    • Activity Entertainment

    • Gyms and Sports Facilities

*Considerations for industries which are suffering due to isolation, but are expected to receive high volumes of traffic after isolation is lifted.

During assessment, the following information will be taken into consideration: 

  • Jobs saved

  • Supply Chain Effect.

  • Beneficiaries and customers benefited.

  • Other community impact.

+ How does the grant work?

We've made available a services grant worth up to USD 50,000 for 5 chosen SMEs. To access this grant, SMEs commit to a monthly fee of USD 399+, for a minimum of 3 months, with options to extend. The service package includes:

d.  Upskill Your Team

e.  Donate - Joining our initiative to donate food and support the community

and training materials from The Idea.

*Prices will vary depending on the period of performance.

+ What is the duration of the package?

Packages start at 3 months, with an option to extend.

+ How do I apply?

+ Can I submit more than one proposal?

Only one proposal per organization will be accepted, multiple proposals submitted by one entity will be rejected without evaluation.

+ What are the available services on the package?

These are the services included:

i. Website Creation and E-commerce Integration.

ii. Social Media Optimisation: Facebook and Instagram Set-up and Analytics.

iii.Communication Management: Website assets, SM platform and community management.

iv. Daily Operations Management - GSuite, Pipedrive and CRM.

v. Coaching & Consulting: Behavioral Change during and post COVID19.
